Customer Reviews

Good quality, soft material, but size runs big...5
This sweater is very light and soft. When you touch it, you can feel the quality of cashmere. I got it at good price when Amazon had promotion of 49.99 one day sales event. I was very happy about this purchase and wanted to get another one with different color, but today's price is 60 over dollar. I will wait for next sales event to get another one for myself. Probably get one for my husband, if they sell male sweaters. There is one thing you need to aware: the size runs bigger than the standard size. I ordered size s (the smallest size they have), and it is big for me. So if your size is US 0, don't buy this sweater. It does not fit you.
Great Fit and Comfortable!5
I ordered this sweater in black. When I received it, I tried it on and it looked and felt great. Size was as expected. The sleeves are a bit long, as you can see on the model in the product photo. But they don't hang down on me. They are tapered. The upper part of the sleeve is roomy, and the fit is closer toward the wrist, so the sleeves are really a very nice length on a real person. The V-neck shows a little skin, but not too much. This would also look great layered over a blouse or shirt.
The care instructions say dry clean only. I threw caution to the wind, sort of. I won't buy a sweater I can't wash, and I did wash this sweater. I used cold water, and a tiny bit of liquid HE detergent. I filled up the sink, made sure the detergent was dispersed but not sudsy, then plunged the sweater in and swished it around just a bit. Then I let it soak for a few minutes. I rinsed with plain water first. At this point, a little bit of dye came out in the water, but not enough to affect the color. Then I did a rinse with water and white vinegar, followed by a rinse with water and a bit of liquid fabric softener. After that, I very gently squeezed some of the water out of the sweater and rolled it up in a bath sheet to absorb most of the water. I laid it flat and blocked it to dry. The same as you would hand wash any sweater. I haven't tried the hand wash cycle on my washing machine - yet. It dried perfectly, undamaged and without loss of shape.
This is not a heavy, super-warm sweater. It is light and comfortable, with a modern but classic cut. Super introduction to cashmere, and a great gift!
