Totally Worth the Cost
I am so pleased with the Bravado nursing tanks. They are high-quality and sturdy. The straps are strong like bra straps, as opposed to the weak, fabric straps on other nursing camisole brands I've tried. These camis are comfortable AND give a lovely shape to the bust-line. Other nursing camisoles I tried with my last baby flattened my bust-line. Not only that, but the weak straps got all stretched out and the camis shrank in the wash. I've washed my Bravado ones several times now and they have retained their size and shape. HIGHLY recommended! Much better product that Motherhood camisoles and Target brand camisoles. It's totally worth it to spend close to $50 for a camisole you will want to wear every day and that provides such excellent support.
Great Support
I am a review-a-holic and read everything I could before my purchase of this tank top. I am always very self-conscious of the size of my chest while nursing (right now a 36 DD) and I am always at a lost when it's time to get dressed. What can I wear, be comfortable in, bend over and deal with a potty training-running around crazy-three year old boy, feel cute it, and nurse in...ahhhhh! Anyways, I am very pleased with the tank top. The fabic is great and even with my larger-than life nursing nipples I feel comfortable and supported! I like the fact that it offers so much support but doesn't hug my post-pregnancy pouch and doesn't create those lovely back-fat lines that are so depressing (haha). Anyways I would have given it 5-stars but I do wear a little under bra-thingy to help cover my cleavage. It's basically impossible not to have the stuff though unless I wear a turtle neck...I don't believe it would bother anyone else unless you too are very uncomfortable with cleavage (most women love it). It is worth the price (and I'm a DAVE RAMSEY bugetting queen!).
Busty girls might be disappointed
Don't get me wrong. I really like this tank and am considering ordering another in a different color. I bought the white bamboo top when I was still pregnant and wore it several times under other tops or while lounging around. I found it to be a little tighter than I was comfortable with when leaving the house, but that was expected. After the delivery, it's very flattering over my tummy bulge but still ridiculously tight over the bust. The bra is nicely supportive, but the overlying fabric of the top could stand to be much looser and less low-cut. If Bravado is going to size a bra/tank as 34 F-G, then it needs to actually accomodate an F-G cup without everything looking like it's about to fall out. I still wear the tank but only under other tops or when I'm wearing the baby in a wrap. The snaps take getting used to and don't work with the Medela Freestyle hands-free system, but otherwise are well-designed and easy to use. Judging from photos and other reviews, I assume that the top works wonderfully for those in the A-DD size ranges.
